MISCA results this weekend and here are the highlights from that meet:

200 Medley Relay of Meegan Smith, Allie Steffin, Lauren Metter and Kayla Binder started our meet off with a time of 2:00.18. Meegan posted a lifetime best time in her 50 backstroke with a 30.43. Lauren Sullivan was a second off of her lifetime best in the 200 freestyle with a 1:57.45 and qualified for State with 2 seconds to spare. Allie Steffin then dropped 2 seconds in the 200 IM with a time of 2:22.42. Maureen Lingle had a lifetime best time in the 100 butterfly with a 1:00.83 and qualified for state, and then quickly followed that up with a 17 second season drop in the 500 freestyle at a 5:19.41, over 7 seconds faster than the state time!

The highlight of our meet was the 200 freestyle relay of Lauren Sullivan, Lauren Metter, Maureen Lingle and Hannah Asselin, who finished 6th overall with a time of 1:40.78. This is 4 seconds under the state qualifying time, 2 seconds away from our school record. We were the fastest D2 team at this meet!!! The individual swims of the meet then completed with Lauren Sullivan again qualifying for state in her 100 backstroke at a 59.79 and Allie Steffin posting a lifetime-best time in the 100 breaststroke with a 1:08.80, almost 2 seconds under the state time! Our final relay of Lauren Sullivan, Allie Steffin, Maureen Lingle and Hannah Asselin finished with a time of 3:46.42, the 7th state cut of our day.
