Boys Varsity Track & Field vs. JV-B-JEFFERSON INV.

The Bedford boys track team competed at the Jefferson Freshman/Sophomore Invite on Saturday. No team scores were kept, but Bedford's 9th and 10th graders performed extremely well none the less. They placed first in the high jump (Elijah Flood, Brady Long), Co-Ed Shuttle Hurdles (Elijah Flood, Andrew Farren), the Sprint Medley Relay (Charles Hilsenbeck, Elijah Flood, Ryan Whipple, Andrew Farren), and the co-ed 4x400 relay (Andrew Farren, Charles Hilsenbeck). They also placed 2nd in the long jump, shot put, and 4x200m relay. They had numerous 3rd and 4th place finishes as well. Some great individual times were run by Charles Hilsenbeck (51.8 in the 400m), Michael Greely (4:53 in the 1600m) and Brady Nowak (23.5 in the 200m). Great way to start the season.
