The Bedford boys freshman track team took second out of 8 teams at the St. Francis Freshman Invitational on Monday to bring home the runner-up trophy. They were led by freshman standout Michael Greeley, who won the long jump with a season best jump of 19'10", won the 1600m with a time of 4:47 and anchored the winning 4x400 relay team! Santos Salazar threw a season best 99'10" in the disc to take 3rd. Alex Zittleman ran a career best time of 10:58 in the 3200 to take 2nd. Caleb Gill took 2nd in the 400m, and helped lead off the winning 4x400 relay team. Elijah Flood took second in the high jump and ran on the 4x400 relay. Great all around effort from the freshman guys.
