The Bedford boys track team competed in the regional track meet at Saline on Friday May 15th.  Brendan McClanahan qualified for the state track meet in the 800m run with a time of 1:57.51, a personal best time.  Other great performances were turned in by Daniel Winter in the 100m.  Daniel ran a personal best time of 11.24 missing the state cut by only .1 seconds.  Charles Hilsenbeck ran personal best time in both the 200m and 400m.  Charles actually ran fast enough in the 200m to qualify for the state meet (22.71 sec), but failed to qualify for the finals in one of the most loaded 200m fields in memory.  Charles also ran a career best in the 400m with a time of 51.27.  Brady Nowak ran a personal best time in the 100m with a time of 11.55 seconds.  Michael Greeley ran a best time in the 1600m of 4:44. And, the 4x100m relay team of Daniel Winters, Alex Hisey, Brady Nowak and Christian Ormsby ran a season best time of 44.90, just missing the school record of 44.43 in the event.  Great job and great season guys.  Brendan will be competing at the state meet at Rockford High School in Grand Rapids Michigan on Saturday May 30th.  Good Luck Brendan!
